Come and learn the traditional craft of felt making with Gillian Harris, author of "Complete Felt making". Make a unique wall-hanging, table runner or cushion to take away. Subject to a minimum number of participants.

Cruise and Dine on the River Thames
See well known landmarks from The Georgian on the River Thames. Enjoy a silver service dinner and dance the night away in aid of Scannappeal.

Falconry Day
Come and meet some traditional hunting birds, including falcons, hawks and an eagle. There will be a flying display at 1.30pm where you can watch some of the birds fly (subject to weather conditions). Between 11.30am and 2.30pm there will be Bird of Prey workshops where you can drop in for half and hour to meet the falconer and have a close encounter with these wonderful creatures.

Spade Oak to Cock Marsh and Winters Hill Walk
Come and see the great views from Winters Hill on this four and a half mile walk that involves some steep climbs. Bring waterproofs and sturdy footwear in case of bad weather as it can get muddy.

Orchid Walk
This is short 2-3 mile walk explores the beautiful orchids that grow in and around the Micklefield Valley.

Roald Dahl Family Fun Afternoon
Magician, music, Morris Men, Dahl stories, tombola, teas, Pimms Tent, games for children and lots more. No pre-booking. Parking available opposite the house.

Summer Show
The Bledlow Ridge Horticultural Society's annual exhibition of flowers. Open to non-members. Small entrance fee.

Bats and Beasts of the Night
This is a WDC Ranger - led walk looking for signs of some of the nocturnal creatures that live around Little Marlow. Bring a torch to light your way. Always a favourite with families, children must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy footwear is essential as some parts of the walk can be slippery. Booking is essential.

Beasts of the Night at Brush Hill Local Nature Reserve
Join the WDC Rangers and Risborough Countryside Group for an evening of nocturnal fun. Start the evening with some games and activities, and then go in search of bats, foxes, badgers and other beasts of the night. Look out for Glow- worms on the return journey before checking out the moth trap. Wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Great Butterfly Hunt - Part Two
Come along and help us to survey the site for butterflies. Learn basic survey techniques and gain some knowledge on butterfly identification at the same time. This is the second of a series of 3 events. There will be different species to look for as the season progresses.
